  E' parecchio che Noa non dà un intero concerto a Roma, e stasera potete trovare la vocalist israeliana a Il Senso dei Luoghi (Frascati, Villa Aldobrandini, tel. 069417575, ore 21.30, prezzi 25 e 15 euro)
  insieme alla sua band: il chitarrista Gil Dor, il tastierista Adi Rennert, Hagar Ben-Ari al basso, Jean Paul Zimbris alla batteria e Zohar Fresco alle percussioni.
  

• Achinoam Nini (è il suo vero nome) è dolce  ma piena di energia, ha una voce intensa che punteggia ogni nota di ritmicità, può essere delicata, aggressiva o sensuale e le sue canzoni sono un affascinante mix
  di Oriente e rock. Un esempio? Centro do Mundo, il brano proposto in gennaio a Roma, al Colosseo, in duo con il palestinese Nabil Salameh. Fra i suoi hit Child of Man, Manhattan-Tel Aviv, Panama, nonché i brani del recente e bellissimo album Blue Touches   Blue. (f. z.)

  It's a long time since Noa gave her last full concert here in Rome, and this evening you can find the Israeli singer in Frascati with her band: Gil Dor on guitar, Adi Rennert on keyboards, Hagar Ben-Ari on bass, Jean Paul Zimbris on drums and Zohar Fresco on percussions. 
  Achinoam Nini (that's her real name) is sweet and full of energy at the same time, she has an intense voice that rhythmically dots every single note.She may be delicate, aggressive or sensuale and her songs
  are a fascinating mix of Eastern music and rock.  An example?  "Centro do mundo" (???), the piece Noa sang in January in Rome, at Colosseum, with the Palestinian singer Nabil Salameh.  We can also recollect, among her hits, Child of man, Manhattan-Tel Aviv, Panama, and the songs from her late and
  beautiful album Blue Touches Blue

NOA, UNA VOCE LIBERA

La cantante israeliana sarà in concerto stasera a Frascati


Noa è la voce più libera e indipendente della musica israeliana. Lei, 33 anni, di origine yemenita, cresciuta a New York, ha scelto di vivere a Tel Aviv, con il marito e il suo bambino. «Vivo in un posto pieno di storia e bellezza, purtroppo è attraversato da tensioni politiche, morte e sangue di persone innocenti, israeliane e
palestinesi. Mi rattrista quello che sta succedendo, eppure mi sento un' artista libera nel mio paese, molto più libera e indipendente di tanti artisti libanesi, giordani, algerini, costretti a subire la censura del loro governo. Se io dovessi mai trovarmi in una situazione come la loro non esiterei ad abbandonare la mia patria».

     Achinoam Nini (Achinoam è il nome della prima moglie del re David), questo è il suo vero nome, canterà stasera a Villa Aldobrandini a Frascati l' unica tappa nel Lazio del tour di Noa, per la rassegna «Il senso dei luoghi». Con lei sul palco Jil Dor alla chitarra, Adi Rennert alle tastiere, Hagar Ben-Ari al basso, Jean Paul Zimbris alla batteria, Zohar Fresco alle percussioni. «Presenterò anche sei o sette brani dal mio nuovo album "Now" che uscirà il prossimo autunno. Ho lavorato a questo disco per più di un anno, in un periodo meraviglioso e  particolare per me perché ha coinciso con la mia seconda gravidanza. Sono venute fuori
dei pezzi profondi, personali e soprattutto oneste».

    Noa che ha collaborato con artisti come Pat Metheny, Santana , Sting, Zucchero, Pino Daniele, Stevie Wonder («Dipendesse da me duetterei con tutt o il mondo») è stata aiutata in questo lavoro da Rita Marcotulli
che ha scritto una canzone per lei, e duetta con la cantante israeliano -palestinese Mira Awad nel classico dei Beatles «We Can Work It Out». «Ma io non penso mai di dover dare con la mia musica dei messaggi. Ognuno può leggerci quello che vuole. Io cerco solo di incoraggiare le persone a riflettere e ad aprire le loro menti». I suoi ricordi romani la portano al Colosseo, dove è stata fra i protagonisti del concerto per la pace : «Un'
esperienza esaltante. L' arena dei gladiatori, dove regnava la morte, è diventata in quell' occasione una grande speranza di vita».

Noa is the most independent and free voice of Israeli music. She, 33 years, is of yemenit origin. Grown up in
New York, she chose to live in Tel Aviv, with her husband and her child.    "I live in a place full of history and beauty. Unfortunately   political tensions, death and blood of innocent people, both Israeli and Palestinian, are running across my country. What it is happening made me sad, nevertheless I feel a free artist here in my country, much more free and independent  than many Lebanese, Jordanian or Algerian artists, who are forced to endure the censorship of their governments. If ever I should be in a situation like that, I would not hesitate to leave my native land", Noa says.   Achinoam Nini (Achinoam is the name of the first wife of king David), this is her real name, will perform this evening at Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati.This is the only concert of the italian tour Noa will give here in Lazio. On the stage there will be also *Jil* Dor on guitar, Adi Rennert  on keyboards, Hagar Ben-Ari on bass, Jean Paul Zimbris on drums and Zohar Fresco on percussions. 

"I will also introduce six or seven new songs from my new album "Now" that is going to be released next autumn.  I have worked at this album for more than one year, in a wonderful and particular period of my life,
because it has taken place at the same time of my second pregnancy (???). I think that what's gone out are deep, personal and above all honest songs".
 

Noa, who has collaborated with artists like Pat Metheny, Santana, Sting, Zucchero, Pino Daniele, Stevie Wonder ("If it was up to me, i would sing with all the world", Noa says) has been helped in this job by Rita
Marcotulli, who's written one song for her. In this album Noa sing also a cover of "We Can Work It Out" with the
Israeli-Palestinian singer Mira Awad.
 
"But I think it's not my job to give messages with my music.  Everyone can interpret them as they want. I just try to encourage people to reflect and to open their minds ".

Noa remembers the concert at Colosseum: "An exciting experience!! The arena of gladiators, where death reigned, in that occasion it has become the place of peace."
