La cantante israelí Noa ofreció en la noche del sábado un concierto de auténtica categoría. El mejor estreno que pudo tener 'Los veranos del Pemán' Cádiz.
 Spain: Saturday night, the Israeli singer Noa offered a concert full of authenticity, the best premiere possible  for "The summers of the Pemán."

Noa tiene un ritmo especial. Una dulzura y una sensualidad fruto de sabias influencias y mucha sabiduría acumulada, resultado del mejor y más tolerante mestizaje, del armónico encuentro entre oriente y occidente. Y con este ritmo y una voz única ofreció el sábado en Cádiz su particular tributo a la esperanza.
Noa has a special rhythm, a sweetness and a sensuality. Her style is the fruit borne of her many influences, so much accumulated wisdom, all the result of the best and most tolerant marriage, the harmonic meeting between east and occident. And in Cádiz on Saturday, with this rhythm and an unique voice, she offered up her own tribute to hope.

La noche fue mágica, absolutamente perfecta. Incluso el Levante, que amenazaba ya con asomarse por la Bahía,  esperó tímidamente, para que fuera ella sola la que se   acompasara en una danza que nace de sus pies descalzos en el escenario. Porque en Noa, voz y cuerpo son todo un ejemplo de armonía..
The night was magic, absolutely perfect. Even the winds of Levante that threatened to lean out of the Bay waited timidly, so that Noa alone engaged the audience in a dance, borne of her bare feet on the stage. Because in Noa, voice and body are an example of harmony.

Y eso que el concierto estuvo a punto de suspenderse.  El viernes, la cantante israelí anduvo bastante preocu-pada por una afección en la garganta y, a pesar de que  hizo grandes esfuerzos para guardarse, en la mañana del sábado fue necesario que acudiera a la consulta de un   otorrino. Aún así, sus cuerdas vocales rindieron por la noche todo lo que de ellas se esperaba y Noa dio  un recital de auténtica categoría. Un estreno de lujo
para las noches del Pemán.
All of this happened after the concert was about to be postponed. On Friday,the Israeli singer was afflicted by a worrying throat infection and, although she made every effort to keep her voice, on Saturday morning it became necessary for her to visit a doctor for possible laryngitis. But even feeling this way, on Saturday night, her vocal chords gave everything that was expected of them and Noa gave a recital brimming with authenticity: a deluxe premiere for nights at the Pemán.

Más de las tres cuartas partes del aforo del teatro de verano estaban ocupadas por verdaderos aficionados a  la música, que supieron disfrutar de un concierto que  fue a más. More than three quarters of the theater's seats were occupied, full of true music lovers that knew how to enjoy a concert that went on and on.

Y es que el recital comenzó con las canciones más  melódicas de la artista, para acabar con temas que encerraban ritmos que llamaban al baile y a dejarse  llevar por los compases, que se acunan entre el rock,el pop, y el folklore de su país. Y precisamente por  la fuerza de su música, al final fueron muchos los que no pudieron reprimir las palmas -los más tímidos-  ni las ansias de levantarse para acompañar a la
artista.
 The show began with her "more melodic" songs, and finished with songs that contained rhythms that invited the audience to dance. These songs reveal the delicate balance she treads between rock, pop music, and the folklore of her country. And as testament to her music's power, at the end of the show, there were many people who could not hold back their clapping - even the shyest listener could not resist the longing to get up to accompany the artist by clapping in time with the music.

Al final fue más de una hora y media de concierto en  el que recordó canciones de su discografía y adelantó  temas del que será su próximo disco 'Now', que saldrá  a la venta en septiembre. Los tres primeros adelantos se colaron en la primera parte del concierto y los  presentó ella misma en español: "Las próximas tres canciones son del nuevo disco". El resto de las intervenciones las hizo en inglés, no sin prometer que aprendería español para el año que viene.
The concert lasted more than an hour and a half. She brought back songs from her discography and gave the audience a taste of what will be on her next album, "Now" (available in September). In the first part of the concert, she presented the first three songs from her new album, and she announced this fact in Spanish. The rest of her "speeches" were in English, with the promise to learn Spanish for next year.

Entre estas canciones, se colaba la versión de Alan Parson Eye in the sky, ejecutada de manera maravillosa  por la cantante y sus músicos. Porque si en algo se apoya el espectáculo, además de en su increíble voz,  es en la calidad de los acompañantes: su inseparable Gil Dor, a la guitarra; Zohar Fresco, en la percusión,  Jean Paul Zimbris, batería; Adi Rennert, sintetizadores; y Hagar Ben-Ari, en el bajo.
 Among these new songs was Alan Parson's "Eye In The Sky," performed and executed by the singer and her musicians in a wonderful way.  In addition to Noa's incredible voice, the performance was supported by the quality of her mates' musicianship: her inseparable Gil Dor on the guitar; Zohar Fresco on percussion, Jean Paul Zimbris on drums, Adi Rennert on synthesizers, and Hagar Ben-Ari on bass.
Today, Pokeach, Beauty of that y Boker son los temas  que colmaron la segunda parte del recital, que concluyó con la Danza de la Esperanza, Dance of hope. En este  tramo tuvo palabras para la situación de su país, para la denostación de la violencia, y la pervivencia de la  esperanza y el amor como únicos precursores de la vida.
Noa está comprometida con su causa sobre y bajo las  tablas. 
"Today," "Pokeach," "Beauty of That," and "Boker" are the songs that filled the second part of the recital, concluding with "Dance of Hope." At thispoint, she expressed her thoughts about the situation in her country, speaking out against the violence and for hope and love as the only basis of life. Noa is involved in this peace project offstage as well as in her performances.

El 'bis' comenzó con la increíble versión que incluye en su disco 'Blue touches blue' del tema principal de   la banda sonora de La vida es bella, Beautiful that way,  que interpretó acompañada únicamente de la guitarra.The "bis" began with the incredible version included in her album "Blue Touches Blue" of the main topic of OST: "Life is Beautiful." How beautiful that way, that she performed the song only accompanied by the guitar.
Con Uno queriendo ser dos, el siguiente tema, se metió  en el bolsillo al público, ya entregado a esa hora dela noche, a pesar de que en un lapsus se olvidara de  parte de la letra y tuviera que comenzar de nuevo las  estrofas. Child of man fue el tema con el que cerró  la mágica noche.With the song that followed, "Uno queriendo ser dos," she won the audience, who had all already surrendered at that hour of the night (although in a lapse of memory, she forgot the Spanish lyrics and had to start it again). "Child of Man" was the song that closed this magic night.

Llegaron las demandas de más canciones y las palmas por  bulerías y Noa retornó al escenario tocando al compás.  "Estos sólo ocurre en Sevilla y en Cádiz", comentó, y  empezó a tararear al ritmo que le marcaba el público. The demand for more songs and the intense clapping (bulerías clapping, a kind of flamenco rhythm) made Noa return to the stage, going with the flow. "These things only happen in Seville and in Cádiz," she commented, and began to hum to the rhythm given to her by a devoted audience.
